A proud graduate of Meade County High School in 1972, Rebecca went on to earn her undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky. Her teaching career began in 1977, and she held multiple positions, including as a kindergarten teacher at Battletown Elementary and Central Elementary. In 1993, she transitioned into leadership as the principal of Ekron Elementary, a role she held for 13 years.
