At the November Board of Education meeting, Meade County Schools celebrated the achievements of Meade County High School students and FFA members who represented the district at the Kentucky State Fair this past August. These students demonstrated exceptional talent as Livestock Exhibitors, with several earning recognition for their efforts in the championship drive.
Board members and Superintendent Dr. Mark Martin commended the students for their dedication and hard work, emphasizing the significance of their accomplishments in representing the community at the state level.
In addition to honoring the students, the Board also recognized the invaluable contributions of Agriculture teachers and FFA advisors, Mrs. Noel Pack and Ms. Callie Hobbs. Their mentorship and support were instrumental in preparing students for success at the Kentucky State Fair and beyond.
"The achievements of these students reflect the passion, skill, and dedication they bring to agriculture, a vital part of our community's heritage," said Dr. Mark Martin. "We are incredibly proud of their success and grateful for the leadership of Mrs. Pack and Ms. Hobbs."
The recognition serves as a reminder of the district's commitment to supporting programs like FFA, which provide students with meaningful opportunities to develop skills, build character, and pursue their passions.
Meade County Schools congratulates all students and staff involved on a job well done!
